No, you haven’t missed the 2018 book fair. We are changing location and date so as of now (April 5th), 2018) we have not set a specific date or location but do still plan to host a book sale sometime this year. Check back for more information. We have tons of books to sell so keep checking! Thanks

Join us for our annual book fair where we will have thousands of used books for sale. It will be held April 1-3, 2016 at St John’s Episcopal Church at 214 N 4th St in Keokuk!

  • Speaker – Kristin Schulte –                                                                 Kristin was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia and will talk about her experiences there.

November 4, 2014 -Meeting in Round Room of the Keokuk Public Library

  • Randi Henderson will present the program “Living Green”.  Come, learn, and share with Randi and take home ideas you can put to use right away to make a positive impact on our environment.

  • Annual Sharing of the Books – This is one of our favorite meetings of the year.  Each member briefly shares an overview of a book she has enjoyed reading.  this is a great way to explor a number of “good reads” and maybe find one that will make a good holiday gift for a friend or family member
  • Sandy Seabold will present on “How to Value a Book”.  Sandy is an expert at locating, identifying, and selling books.  She will share information and helpful information fort hose of us who have lots of books.
  • Refreshments – Each member brings a holiday treat to share.

  • Speaker – Alka Khanolkar will speak on the political climate in India. Alka will share her insight and encourage discussion.

  •  Meeting will be held at Sandy Seabold’s home at 226 Morgan St in Keokuk.
  • This will be our carry-in brunch and will include entertainment provided by a local music group and election of officers for next year. This is our last meeting of the year and we will resume meeting again in September.
